Water Moves: Unlocking the Secrets of Watercolor
A full-day, immersive workshop designed to deepen your understanding of how watercolor truly works.
Explore the essential roles of high-quality pigments, paper, and brushes—and how these tools can elevate or hinder your art. Through hands-on demonstrations and guided practice, you’ll discover how water behaves on the paper, how pigments interact, and why mastering this movement is key to vibrant, expressive (and detailed!) painting. You'll also learn to build and troubleshoot your own color palette, explore an introduction to color wheels and learn why traditional wheels often “break” in watercolor—and how to creatively fix them.
WHO? Perfect for the beginner artist ready to dive into a new medium with a solid foundation, the watercolorist ready move beyond the basics and harness the full magic of watercolor, OR the experienced watercolorist who wants to take a trip back to the basics and troubleshoot current challenges.
