Gold Leaf & Watercolor is a full-day watercolor workshop where we will explore gold leaf...in a few different ways.

Add a little shimmer and a whole new dimension to your watercolor! In this class, we'll explore the creative possibilities of combining watercolor and gold leaf in unexpected ways. Learn how to use gold leaf to accent and enhance a finished painting, incorporate it as a bold design element, and even paint directly ON the gold leaf. We'll experiment with application techniques, layering, and the interplay of metallic surfaces and transparent watercolor to discover how gold can become more than just an embellishment—it's part of the painting itself. Whether used subtly or boldly, gold leaf offers a unique way to bring light, texture, and visual interest to your work.

All supplies are available to rent for just $5 for the day—simply let us know at registration. You can walk in worry-free; everything you need will be provided. My goal is to equip you with tools that support your growth as an artist. I understand that not every technique or style is the right fit for everyone, so this is a chance to try things out and see what resonates. If you love it, you can add those supplies to your own studio collection.
